This Theo Murphy international scientific meeting, "SiC quantum spintronics: towards quantum devices in a technological material ", organized by Cristian Bonato (Heriot-Watt University, UK), Sang-Yun Lee (KAIST, Korea) and Jörg Wrachtrup (3. Physikalisches Institut, Germany), on the 6th and 7th November 2018, was a great opportunity to bring together quantum physicists with materials growers, device engineers and industry, to develop quantum technologies in this material.
